Meaning: Above the village

Clan Head: Muranoue Yurei

Important\Notable Members:

• Muranoue Kira: the Muranoue clan ancestor, was the first to master her own chakra. Was also known as a Geisha before establishing the clan

• Muranoue Eizou: Runs the Medicine and Herb store in Kohona village, was the past clan head before his son Yurei

• Muranoue Heisuke: Was supposed to be the current clan head but died from sickness so his younger brother Yurei became clan head

• Muranoue Kazuma: Daughter of Heisuke, oddly enough shows no ambition to become the next clan head. Also is able to use Yin Release based Jutsus 

• Muranoue Chizuru: a high ranking medical nin for the leaf who trained under Tsunade. Most do not know she is blind because of her well developed sixth sense

• Muranoue Shion: a Medical nin who participated in the great ninja war, supposedly died from overuse of chakra. was also rumored to have been blind 

Clan Politics:

• The Muranoue clan will always remain loyal to the leaf

• The next clan head is usually a child of the previous clan head, if the clan head has no child then they may name the next clan head as long as they are part of the bloodline

• They were on rough terms with the Ryuu and Akuma clans and had to act as peacemaker for both warring clans.

• They were once afflicted with a disease that had wiped out half of the blood clan members. But they managed to make a cure before it hit the village.

• It’s customary for most members to gauge their ears no has reached a size bigger than a 1.6’’

Traits:

• Eyes:

• colors are dominant in the family such as Lilac, blue, hazel, silver, and brown are the most common colors

• Colors such as Red, Amber, Green, and black are uncommon but some members do have dark colored eyes

• most members tend to have Heterochima but in most cases one of their eyes are silver 

• bloodline members have pale green or blue lines coming from the outer corner of their eyes

• Hair:

• Common hair colors are like gray, brown, and blonde

• Oddly enough their hair seems to turn white when they reach their 40s rather than in their later years

• Skin:

• They run in all natural skin tones

• Most members tend to have scars as the slightest cuts can leave long lasting scars

• Most members can tan quite easily as their skin can easily soak up the sun

• Most members have lean body types

• Women tend to be flat chested but its not uncommon  for larger chests. Female ninjas also practice binding their chests

• Common to posses larger canines

• They are known for agriculture, they actually are a large producer of crops for the land of fire

• Also are very skilled at cooking

• They are also known for their ease in the medical field

• Created special pills used to suppress Chakra from enemies  making them great at sneak attacks

• Have great discipline and are extremely loyal making them suitable senseis and leaders of teams

• The Muranoue clan owns healing hot springs which are know to heal scars faster

Chakra:

• Commonly use Boil, Wood, Earth,  or Water

• However the more skilled they get at manipulating their Chakra they can adapt to almost any nature. Exceptions being Dust, Storm, Crystal, Dark, Steel, and Ice (unless they have a parent who used that Nature ) 

• Rare natures are Yin, Yang, and Wind 

• Through mediation they can distribute and control their chakra faster than others

Clan History:

• Clan Legend: it's rumored that the Muranoues were once tea leaves left behind by the Kodamas that grew into humans 

• Clan History: The Muranoue clan was once located in the land of lighting but found the terrain much to rocky to grow crops properly. They moved and found that Land of Wind too dry and the Land of Water too wet. Eventually they set roots in the land of fire where it was perfect to grow the needed herbs and crops.  

Clan Traditions:

• Basic traditions:

• Children are often taught basic first aid and the medical uses of plants from young ages

• They celebrate no certain religion but they do hold harvest festivals every season. It is also common to light incense  and give offerings to deceased members.

• The dead are buried with herbs to keep their “soul” pure

• Many tend to have piercings at young ages

• Females are typically put on strict rest when pregnant as pregnancies tend to leave them vulnerable

• Marriage traditions:  

• Brides often wear spring colors such as lilac, pink, or Mint. traditionally a Hanfu is worn

• Both males and females wear traditional hair pins or combs

• Traditional wedding often consist of cheery music and home made food. Gifts are often flowers and homemade items. Brides and Grooms often wear their significant other’s favorite flower as a sign for their love to each other

• Neutral on same sex marriage, anyone is allowed to marry into the clan

• Clothing traditions:

• Females often wear flower hair pins

• they wear a variety colors but pastels are common. Beige, Grey, or black are common base colors that are used

• its common for ninjas to use netting as the fabric is breathable

• Most clothing is light and breathable so it's easier for flexibility

• However females tend to bind their chests

• Their Kekkei Genkai is ninjutsu based and requires great control of chakra as it can have damaging effects if used poorly or too often

• If used improperly it can damage their nerves or chakra flow

• To activate require time and focus to make sure they can divert the proper amounts of chakra into plant life, once activated their eyes become pure white and they become incredibly fast

Types of Techniques

• Technique 1: Acupuncture aura

• Enables to castor to manipulate their Chakra into needles so their able to hit  their opponent's chakra points

• Technique 2: Cocoon aura

• Enables the user to wrap their own chakra around themselves or others to heal. Often leaves them unable to move while using it. They can selectively wrap parts of the body too

• Technique 3: Chakra sucker

• If their opponent is poor at controlling their chakra the user can leech off of it to replenish their own
